platforum is a monthly email newsletter informing over 4,500 "opt-in" creative urbanites in the bay area seeking new events & happenings of artistic interest.
We've built a trusting relationship with our readers, including positive feedback from them encouraging our coverage on great art events, funny news, happenings, etc. We believe that this information should be reported in a humorous voice, the one our readers enjoy.
If you have an event, product, service announcement that you'd like to
share with the platforum readers,
there are two things we ask:
1) That your event, product or service maintains relevant significance to
our audience. This means that we'll either be going or buying it.
2) That you pay a listing fee (price varies depending on what you're offering).
Parties/Events are $45: This number is based on a $10 CPM (cost per thousand
emails).
The money made from these listings pays for hosting costs and for rent of
the folks who run it.
We do not do the "Platforum Recommends" emails (and honestly, do
you really think those work?), but thanks to those who have suggested it.
